Women don't belong in politics, they belong in the home.
Why not? I'm a male, but plenty of men have made for some bad politicians and have ruined things, I think having a woman President one day will be a great change of pace and she would probably get a lot of things done looking at plenty of issues from a different perspective.
I voted for Gore, but I am voting for McCain this time. I have also changed my political party. My husband and daughter are both voting for McCain too and they are both still Democrats. Our son is the little Republican in the family, so he probably voted for Bush. My husband is a Vietnam vet and does not like Obama's attitude and lack of patriotism. My daughter was a Hillary supporter. My son was in Desert Storm. We believe in America and want to see it stay free. Obama doesn't seem to be big on freedom.
Sadly, it was under George W. Bush when America was stripped of most of it's freedoms. Judges were fired over political beliefs. Privacy was taken away from citizens. And now, the nationalization of the largest insurance company, largest mortgage companies, and government subsidized corporate takeovers are finishing out GWB's legacy of killing freedom and capitalism as we know it in the US.
Please, for the sake of freedom I hope you and your family will do some research and actually understand what is happening in the world -- and when you do, you'll see that the only answer is to vote Obama. Obama will begin to restore America's freedoms, although we will have a long way to go before we are as free as during the 90's. McCain will continue moving the country towards a neo-con totalitarian state, resembling current-day Russia much more than the US as we knew it 1 decade ago.

I was just wondering if all the people planning on voting for McCain also voted for Bush. Has McCain managed to convince any Kerry or Gore voters to go for his agenda/ideas? If he has convinced you (Kerry and/or Gore voter), tell us why. Just curious...
Yep, voted for Kerry in 2004. I am voting for McCain due to my view that he will do a better job of dealing with Russia, and other countries such as Venezuela. Unlike many posters, I see significant differences in how he would approach foreign policy from Bush's operation.
And I state this as someone who opposed the Iraq action, before it took place. I sided with Scott Ritter and Hans Blix, that Saddam didn't likely have WMD, and I never saw him as an Al Qaeda supporter. However, I did think that he was a pretty evil jerk, and that the UN was too passive on allowing him to skirt weapons inspections.
Finally, concerning Obama, he has the thinnest set of accomplishments I have seen from any candidate since I began following politics in the early 1960's. He has no record of achievement whatsoever, despite what his supporters may state, and takes multiple postions on many issues with no overriding objective. I see him a basically trying to be all things to all people.
This is a snapshot of how one can support Kerry, and subsequently support McCain.
Destroy the country? How in the world can someone make it worse than now. We are just months away from soup lines.
We only have 6% unemployment. Which means, most Americans are working. Things are a little more costly right now but I don't think we'll be on soup lines any time soon. While the dems say Repub's make you fear terrorism (which is real), the Dems want to scare us over the economy. They created this current mess and are using it to help elect Hussein Obama...
The housing market is just one sector of our economy...Like McCain said the fundamentals of our economy are fine.

Your president is the one tearing up every time he gets on camera about the desperation of the economy. We have not had this many foreclosures since 1929. Cali is near bankrupt, the US GOVT is trillions in debt, we have 759 thousand unemployed, and thats just the ones drawing unemployement. Thats not even counting the fact that in order to keep the economy moving, we have to add 100 thousand jobs every month, so add the fact that we haven't added a job (net) in 9 months, we are 1,600,000 jobs behind right now. The banks are not lending, reatail is down, gas is 3 times as expensive as it was 7.5 years ago, health insurance is costing me 2.5 times more that I paid 7.5 years ago. Food prices have doubled for 7.5 years ago, No one is buying cars. Airlines are going broke, the average American (not me) owes 7k total on credit cards. The average person, who is still working makes 1K a month less than they made 7.5 years ago. Don't get me started, that's just the economy, I could go on and on about all the amendment rights we have lost, not to mention habeus corpus. We are in 2 wars, looking for a 3rd one currently, we have a terrible illigal alian problem. I cant even go to Mexico now with out sending away for my Birth Certificate so that I can get a pass port.

Voted for Kerry, voting for McCain primarily to prevent one party from controlling everything. After seeing the mess with Republicans being in control of Presidency and Legislature, I don't want that scenario again. I seriously doubt that the Democrats will be able to behave any better if they have complete control.
Yeah, yeah the sky is falling. Wait til Carter Obama takes over...
wow, what an outstanding rebuff of my data....Im convinced you have a better arguement. Next you destroy me with" sticks and stones will break my bones, but the ecconomy will never hurt me" Followed up with NAH NAH NAH NAH NANNY GOAT.
