Not to overgeneralize, but that crowd did not look like big money contributors.

Can't tell from a picture of a crowd outdoors. also it is the environment and the message and the local press. Lets see what happens when the September fundraising reports comeout. McCain can't and how much did the RNC bring in. On the other side you have the DNC and Obama. If Obama hits 80 million that is a big ouch for McCain. McCain got 85 million and if Obama fundraises that much with October still to go then ouch.

There were only 10,000 there because that is all the seating would allow. There was a raffle to get into the arena.....I was E-ticket number 74,592.

So then why didn't they have it in a bigger venue?

And why Carson of all places?

I'm pretty sure McCain's handlers knew they wouldn't get enough people to look impressive, so they deliberately made it into this "you can only get in by raffle!" thing as a sort of draw. A dog will never notice a parked car, but as soon as the car starts to move away, the dog will be after it like a shot.

You're played, all the time. By your own party. Who thinks you're stupid. You should feel insulted.

Instead you follow along...and follow...and follow...and follow.
