Default Your views of the candidates.

Let's try this again.

What has formed your views of the candidates? When the opposing candidate brings up a piece of legislation, do you research or do you listen? Have you made an effort to read their books, websites, or legislative statements?

On the other hand, do you form your opinions based on what you see on tv, read on discussion/news websites, or what individuals say?

Do you allow or expect contradictions from your candidates once their stance is understood?

I don't support Obama because he's a liberal socialist. I've probably read more of his stance on the issues than his supportes. Pretty pathetic if you ask me.

I'm voting third party.

Have you decided which candidate? You don't have to tell us who, I'm just curious what lead you to that specific candidate who has no chance to win and will likely "swing" the election to the one you really don't like. That is, of course, if you listen to the mass media when they actually mention your candidate.

Third party here too. I haven't decided which one. On the one hand, there's a candidate that has been consistent and another who has a very difficult past with a recent transformation. I know enough to think which would have my interests at heart with the plans I've read about and he himself has discussed. Non-partisan plans with actual community involvement to hold our Congressional members in check. The other, seems to be riding the coattails of someone else. The more I've read and listening to him speak, the more I'm convinced he's not a real change.

Governor Palin, I really hate to belabor the point, but can you give us one or two specific magazines or websites that you read that has influenced your views on global, national, or local issues? Or the latest piece of legislation that you've read?
