Almost zero. The eastern seaboard includes Georgia and South Carolina.

I live in Greenville, SC. Obama will probably not win SC, but you wouldn't know that walking around my neighborhood. I saw the first McCain sign go up the other day, compared to maybe 10 for Obama. People here were more excited by Huckabee than McCain. It's a God thing. However, this is a very conservative place (especially outside the city limits) and a lot of people here would never vote for a Democrat, much less a black one. I can barely drive around town without seeing some form of the confederate flag, usually as a bumper sticker. They are also in the windows of businesses here.

The South is still fairly segregated and there are an amazing number of bigots here. Change is coming slowly, though.

Interesting thing about Race and Money. Money is Green and tends to transcend Race. Folks don't care what you look like when owe them money, when you lose their money, when you pay them money and when you make them money. "Conservative" has typically been synonymous with Money and Fiscal responsibility.....In the end a lot of folks will choose money, and right now Money appears to be trumping Race by a significant margin. If Senator Obama just tells folks "hey I'm talking about making you money, while these folks want to discuss everything but making you money"...which one wins? ~shrug

Quite trying to demoralize McCain voters, Walidm. It is not working. It is just pissing people off.
I don't think Walidm needs to work at demoralizing McCain voters. They either are for him based on the qualities he brings to the table or not. They either believe in him based on his intrinsic worth or not. He is 72 years old and has enough known about him that their is nothing a poster in here can do to shake their firm belief in their candidate. Is there?

The Fed's Speech is going to have a big effect on voters who put the Economy first. We want a smart President who listens to advice, the Markets around the Globe are looking for leadership.

Georgia will probably go McCain he has a lead there. What is at serious risk for the Republicans are house seats in areas with high African America populations that currently have Republican Reps due to previous low Black voter turn out. With a massive registration drive and voters turning out to support Obama some of those house seats may well go Democratic.

3/4's maybe or even 2/3's. I would think SC would go, sadly solidly McCain. McCain will proably win GA and NC by 3 points or less (states that went over double digits for Bush in 04).
The rest of the Eastern Seaboard, very likely an Obama win.

11Trillion Dollars is a big number. I bet that number alone sways a lot of votes because the opposite of 11Trillion is Millions of new jobs and since Senator Obama's the only one capable of enunciating the words Job, Middle Class, and Hard Work all in the same breath, we'll probably see a turnout among all states in epic proportions in this Historic Election Year.
