since he made that announcement in july at the humane society, what dog did he adopt?
I really doubt he and his family have enough time for a dog right now, wouldn't you agree? In January they can have a dog. It is responsible for them to wait.
What a contrast... on one hand you have Sarah Palin who advocates the aerial slaughtering of wolves, giving out a bounty for their paws. Then you have Obama, already endorsed by the Humane Society, now ready and willing to save a life. Saving lives seems to be a foreign concept to Republicans ...be it animal or human.
Seriously, I spent much of yesterday working at a fund rasier for the Humane Society where a lot of dogs who are available for adoption were paraded for people to view in an effort to find them new homes. If people only knew how many wonderful dogs there are out there needing a home they would do as I do and bless those who give these loving creatures a home and love...and I don't care what party they vote for.
Well, there is that. I'd hesitate to allow someone wearing tinfoil on their head to adopt and defenseless dog. But, other than the wingnuts, there really are nice people on both sides of the aisle....and many who aren't on either side of an aisle. Why, are you worried that you can't get a dog?
