I think this bloc is what mostly constitutes McCain's support. This is not the year for Republicans to showcase their nominee extravagantly like the Democrats; this is not the year to be a Republican. I think that a lot of voters shut their mouths about McCain but have already decided to vote for him.

I think so, too. I've even "teased" my husband saying that I think Colmes is a "closet republican". lol

I called homes for Obama here in Omaha, all elderly voters over 60, and I got an even response leaning Obama and leaning McCain out of those that answered the phone. I'm glad to say I had no rude responses from McCain supporters, says a lot about you when you can respectfully disagree like they did.
