Had this been done earlier in the campaign it might've had more of an effect (as flimsy as it may be), but harping on it now just reeks of desperation.

What McCain should be doing is demonstrating why this is not true, if in fact it isn't. And he's not. He hasn't. Maybe he can't. Maybe that's why the resorting to gutter politics. It's kind of sad, because I thought he'd run a clean campaign after what happened to him in the 2000 GOP primaries. I guess if he can't beat Rove he's gotta join him.

Guilt by assocation is just flawed all around. If you met someone who murdered someone in their past...does that make you a murderer? If you had a co-worker who committed fraud in their past...does that make you an accomplice to fraud?
Actually...maybe the Republican ticket should continue to focus on William Ayers & Jeremiah Wright. It's not going to get them anywhere. The American public will realize that they're being fooled with smoke & mirrors to distract them from the fact that John McCain and Sarah Palin don't have the solutions that Americans need.
So...nevermind. Keep your bulldog yapping John.
I am glad they are uncovering everything they can now before Obama becomes president. The American people needs to know more about the background of Obama. It is up to you whether you vote for him or not. I myself have a LOT of red flags on Obama which I wanted answered. Thanks to the McCain/Palin team for taking the time to do these investigations. These investigations are very important because no one really knows who Barack Hussein Obama is, what he represents and here he is going to be President of the USA.

What is your meaning of PDS and I will let you know (I hope you don't mean Pre Debate Syndrome or something equally not as funny).

Why wouldn't I have stepped foot in a Black church? Giggle your way out of that assumption. I've stepped foot in plenty of Black churches. The year Bill Clinton spoke at the NAACP Image Awards I left the auditorium and waited in the lobby until he was done BSing the crowd. If I wouldn't sit there for Clinton, and I wouldn't sit there for that racist pastor of Obama's. He sat there and listened to that racist, anti-America BS for twenty years because HE WAS AT HOME WITH IT, BECAUSE THAT'S WHO HE IS.

Well, if "no one" knows who Barack Obama is, then "no one" can not read, can not hear, and can not watch television. Not only to you have two books written by Obama that tell his life story in depth, but during the past 4 years there has probably more investigation, more indepth stories, and more speculation about Senator Obama then any candidate in history. To not know who Barack Obama is, a person must have been living in a cave or remaining deliberately uninformed. Maybe "no one" knows who Barack Obama is, but the rest of us sure do. We also know exactly who John McCain is. That is why we are voting for Barack Obama.

I'm tired of hearing Palin period. She has no answers to any of the issues. I don't think she even understands whats going on around her. She is being told my the GOP to attack Obama with ammunition they give her. She is trying to be a mouth piece and I bet if anyone called her out on the things she is saying to be more specific she will have to get back to them on it.

I am tired of hearing about it altogether. It has been in the news for months and now it seems as if Palin is just jumping on the bandwagon and bringing it up to deflect from real issues. She does not even seem like she knows what she is talking about. She just goes off in all different tangents and throws names out there to get some sort of reaction from her crowd base.

We could go back and forth all day long about "associations" each candidate has had encounters with.

I am concerned about the economic crisis we are dealing with and want that to be addressed over these accusations that have been brought up numerous times over the past year.

Please make up your mind!

Do you want Sarah to talk or get the truth?

At this point they seem to be mutually exclusive activities.

From the sound of it, when the truth is being demanded, Sarah doesn't like to talk so much.

Look....people can have their doubts about Obama and be plenty justified in it, but all this guilt-by-association stuff just underscores the fact that the McCain camp has no real answers on the issues which it has been avoiding for the whole campaign. If Obama is really that inexperienced and flawed, and you had a clue and you could run a coherent campaign, you should have no trouble beating him.
