While Sarah Palin may not want to thank comedian and writer Tina Fey for making her the butt end of political jokes with her spot on imitation of Palin, Fey certainly should thank Palin for making her the focal point of pop culture.

Personally, I think this is absurd. There are many, many gifted writers out there, who toil for years and have difficulty finding a publisher. In fact, even most published writers get paid very little. I think Tina Fey is brilliantly gifted as a comedienne, but for her to get a $5 million book contract, all because of her Palin imitation, is obscene.
