Let me ask you, who handled the check book for the last eight years?

How's that working out?

Would you have any sources to back your claim up?

In light of this:

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- By a 2-to-1 ratio, Americans blame Republicans over Democrats for the financial crisis that has swept across the country the past few weeks, a new national poll suggests.

In a CNN/Opinion Research Corp. survey out Monday afternoon, 47 percent of registered voters questioned said Republicans are more responsible for the problems currently facing financial institutions and the stock market; only 24 percent said Democrats are more responsible

They are starting to get put out these story lines in anticipation of losing.

1) The mortgage crisis did us in, not our own ideology which everybody loves.

2) Obama's up coming win is the reason the economy is tanking. We didn't do anything wrong over the last 8 years.

A part of me hopes they continue to fool themselves. The first step in getting better is to admit you have a problem. Right wingers are years away from even considering this.

Care to explain your little "theory" for us? Or are you going to do what the rest of your buddies do - come in here, say something so utterly ridiculous no rational person could defend it - and then scurry out of the thread.

You bet, and while there is "no recession now" as soon as Obama takes office, there will be, and it will be his fault.

She's just parroting what Hugh Hewitt was saying today as I heard on AM radio. He actually had the nerve to say the market is tanking in anticipation of Obama's win. These numbskulls just repeat what they hear.
