This is the first debate I watched, and Obama just DESTROYED McCain. McCain act like he has constipation of the brain, Obama was brilliant.

So, you like whiney little boys who think that rules don't apply to them? Yep, it seems so.

Anyone who watched the debate objectively, will acknowledge that they both did ok. The problem is McCain was not agressive enough, but he's not that type of individual. Will hurt himself with some voters, help him with others. They both are brilliant, but I disagree with their liberalism..

It was a tie - which again works to Obama's advantage since he's the one ahead.
As I mentioned elsewhere, I don't think that either one was very brave.
Neither one fessed up to the fact that the American people are going to have to make great sacrifices because of the economic mess we're in.

McCain stuggle for something to say - at the end there was no ideas, just like Palin

If anyone came out ahead, Obama did. Neither made a slam dunk.

I can understand how it might look like a knock-out by Obama to a new debate watcher.

However, most people here have seen Obama in his past 27 debate performances in this campaign, and understand that his level is very very high. He'd beat most anyone without even trying. To those that are familiar with his level, we recognize this was a very good (but not great) performance. Really, that's all he needed though.

I think McCain connected better - spoke simply, was easier to understand. Even if what he said was bs, a lot of folks wont know that. Obama still too wonky and cold.
