Ted Kennedy did the SAME thing in Mass after he forcefully integrated the Boston area schools. This brought him near the top of my list of 'known' elitists...

Exactly! What was the point of the orginal post? I believe his girl's most likely go to private schools now, so who cares? What a waste of time...

Voted against giving tax credits to parents who send their children to private school. (1999)

He's in touch with them now because he needs their votes, just way until he's in office should he get elected. His cult will find out fast that he's out of touch with a lot of things including reality.

To me this says he does not think to kindly of private schooling. Well of course not the push to liberalize schooling and children goes against allowing schools to privately teach. Can't control the masses if you don't control the information.

I am still trying to get over the fact that the state FORCES your child to attend school. what does that have to do with life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Ever think of learning the difference between educating and spending?

Or the FACT that value is not expressed only in $$$$$?

As far as Obama sending his kids to private school I think you're confusing ironic with hypocritical. And it would only be hypocritical if Obama has stated that Public schools are always the best solution. Perhaps you can tell us when that happened? Or will you just be content attempting to make issues out of non-issues?

The sad thing is they're most likely the only two viable options.
