Is this the biggest lead Obama has had on McCain so far?

This is by far the most significant Gallup poll to date. Not because of the spread which is nice for Obama but because it represents for each significant break throughs. As I have cautioned before the important thing is where the candidates are treading in their most highs and lows. What makes this significant is that Obama has broken through to a new high of 52% and McCain has fallen to a new low of 41%. Look at the trend graph and you will see the significance of the numbers. Remember there is a margin of error to factor. Thus look at how Obama has held above 50% that is significant. For this very same reason you can expect McCain to bounce back up to his normal range soon. It may be in the lower part of the range but still within his normal tracking.
We have to assume that they use traditional rounding up and down so the increase/decrease does not necessarily reflect a full point up or down but perhaps just enough to round up or down.]
Gallup Daily: Obama̢۪s Lead Expands to 11 Over McCain

Again this is one poll and their are others that have the race much closer.

Another note from the Gallup article which is interesting and with the debate results to be factored may become even more interesting. It highlights how important last night was to Senator McCain as measured by this one poll:
Voter preferences seem to have stabilized for the moment, as Obama has held a double-digit lead over McCain in each of the last three individual nights of polling.

definately the negative terrorist linking campaigning is hurt McCain and helping Obama's poll numbers go up. Add in the fact that McCain lost the debate and we should see those numbers rise even further.
