John McCain worked for years with a "Grand Cyclops" of the KKK and a known Racist that fathered a mixed child!

Byrd joined the Ku Klux Klan when he was twenty four in 1942. His local chapter unanimously elected him Exalted Cyclops.[4]

Robert Byrd - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Thurmond holds the record for the longest serving Dean of the United States Senate in U.S. history at 14 years. He conducted the longest filibuster ever by a U.S. Senator in opposition to the Civil Rights Act of 1957.

Just to point out that there is dirt to dig up on most anyone in public office.

Furthermore, there are only 100 US Senators and, again, 1800+ Sidley Austin attorneys...

Everything you say is suspect..... you have absolutely LOST credibility....

Cut your losses, & don't ever come back to this thread, hope folks don't remember your faux pas (if they do, I feel sorry for you) & go along with the next one hopefully whoever your source is, "they" treat you better & with respect next time, so you don't have to go through this humiliation again

Default what does this have to do with the OP?

Well I did not write the article first of all.
And second I will post in this thread as much as I like and as far as credibility and what you think I could care less!
I am not humiliated by any means. They did work together and she was in charge of the interns so they put 30 instead of 20 it still does not change the fact that Dohrn was in charge of the interns Michelle and Barack!

But since we've gone from "30 years ago" to "the late '80s" I guess little chronological details like this don't matter much.
Could have been this reason!

Is it coincidence or significant that Bill Ayers’s father Tom Ayers (1915-2007) was a major client of Sidley Austin and long a significant proponent of progressive causes in Chicago?

According to Wikipedia, Bernardine Dohrn worked for Sidley & Austin from 1984 to 1988, while she unsuccessfully sought admission to the New York and Illinois bars.
(According to Sidley’s managing partner, Dohrn didn’t get admitted to the bar because “She wouldn’t say she’s sorry” for her acts of domestic terrorism.) It appears that Dohrn first worked in Sidley’s New York office, and then in its Chicago office.

There are only 550 attorneys at the Chicago office. I hardly think there were even that many in the late 80's!

Sidley Austin LLP

In 1939 there were only 4 partners 4 clerks (associates) 10 staff
