OK, one more time. Ayres, Wright and Rezko are fine...Right?

While watching this film, I was amused. The people who were standing in line, they seemed angered, mad, unhappy and sad. Those yelling out with their vial sentiments, when approached seemed to backdown a notch. When the camera focused on the crowd supporting Obama, they seemed happy, peaceful, smiling. What a difference.
As I watched this film, these are the words I heard from those supporters of McCain/Sarah, They said Obama is or does the following
supports terrorists
hangs around with terrorists
socialist
communist
Someone shouted out the word, "DIE"
European socialist
scumbag
kill babies
He is a Muslim
Asked if Senator obama is a American:? The reply was,"I don't know what he is?"
Acorn registers more dead people for Obama
Acorn and Obama single handed brought this financial castrophe on our country through there dealings with Fannie and Freddic Mac, obma second most highest paid from Acorn, who registers dead people, buses homeless people from state to state
bama is sleazy most disgusting.
So I thought I would look up Acorn. This is what they said about it at their site:
[/SIZE]ACORN is the nation’s largest grassroots community organization of low- and moderate-income people with over 400,000 member families organized into more than 1,200 neighborhood chapters in 110 cities across the country. Since 1970, ACORN has been building community organizations that are committed to social and economic justice, and won victories on thousands of issues of concern to our members, through direct action, negotiation, legislative advocacy and voter participation. ACORN helps those who have historically been locked out become powerful players in our democratic system
Anothe article I read, reports about their activities, and I can only assume this was a Republican sight: Their national goals are municipal "living" wage laws, targeting big companies like Costco, rolling back welfare reform, and regulating banks.
OMG, that is terrible, they want a living wage laws, they target big companies such as Costco, rolling back welfare reform and regulating banks. I'll be darn, their beliefs sound scary to me.lol
Here is another Republican url that mentions this Acorn Organization:
As late as August 2008, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported criminal investigations against at least six ACORN workers who tried to add dead, imprisoned or imaginary people to the voter rolls. The ACORN effort is part of a massive national voter registration drive aimed at the fall presidential election. Democrats have opposed any measures requiring photo identification to register to prevent fraud. In the current financial bailout negotiations going on in Washington, Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and U.S. Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., are trying to include ACORN as a recipient of federal funds as part of this program.

First of all, Obama is not employed with Acorn, to my knowledge
There were six Acorn workers who tried to add dead, imprissoned or imaginary people to the voter rolls. There are 400,000 people associated with Acorn, so you have six unethical people, this happens. Does this mean the whole organization is unethical? No.
Nowhere have I connected Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac with Acorn.
No proof Obama is a Muslim, there is proof he is a Christian.
He is not a European Socialist. He was raised most of his life in Hawaii.
No proof he is a communist.

This is the reason I am voting for Obama. I could not see myself affiliated with these people who lash out untruths and seem to me as mean spirited people..

Well, I'll tell you what. One week after the election, I will bump this thread to the top and we can discuss the behavior of the two candidates followers.

Got a crowd like that in Chicago too! In all fairness to the crowd in Bethlehem, they were probably only eight years old when the clinic bombings took place.

I don't know if they are ok or not. But they sure as heck aren't on the ticket so I won't be voting for any of them.

**STRAW MAN ALERT**

What do the people you named have to do with my post, which referred to the fact that certain McCain supporters are the people who've proven to permit (and sometimes endorse) rudeness, nastiness and violence at their rallies, as opposed to Obama supporters who actually do remain peaceful and respectful?

Ayres (sic), Wright and Rezko aren't running for office and they're not McCain supporters (as far as I know), so they are of no import regarding this particular discussion about McCain's supporters.

I would say that your post was a nice attempt at changing the subject around to denouncing Obama, but, in fact, it was not. Straw man arguments are the mark of a person who cannot adequately argue a legitimate point.

Why bother? Obama will be busy trying to straighten out the 8 years that Bush and his cronies left behind. No time for childs play, this is serious business.
