Maybe the mods can do us all a favor and dump some of them.

I am reporting this poster for the constant hijacking of threads and posting the same link over and over again and I suggest everyone else do the same.
I posted it in a couple other threads hoping someone would do what I asked in this thread. That wasn't getting any answers so I just put it in it's own thread.

This is something that needed to be debated, or at least questioned. Whether or not palin rolls around the floor during services is not really the point. The point is what is her view of armeggedon and what she sees as her role in it. In other words, if she had to make the decision to start WWIII by sending nukes over to russia or china, would she see it as her duty to bring about the rapture? That folks is some scary ****, and it is irresponsible of the newsmedia not to question her on it.

I included the link in a couple of other posts I replied to hoping someone would comment about it and I could sort out how true it is or isn't. I held back starting a new thread for it because I was a little worried it would turn into a big shouting/insult match like most other threads. I probably should have just done it this way from the beginning.

I didn't post it everywhere. It was in 2 other threads included in a response to those threads.

The girls all wore long hair and long skirts as well, so I guess they were from the more fundamentist branch (can't remember the proper initials, sorry, lol). It's not good if past members were shunned in that way. Thanks for offering information you saw while living in that area.
Are these the people that the women all wear long denim skirts, wear their hair in one long braid with a kerchief on top? I've always wondered what their story was...

I spent the first 20 years of my life in the pentecostal faith. Ask away and I'll answer.

Thank you I hadn't seen it in any other threads. The pentecostal church is one of the wackiest out there imo.

no kerchief, and sometimes just a ponytail, but yeah. We spent a month in a campground and the family next to us was this family. There were 3 teenage girls that were very close in age. When we first saw them I almost thought they were a plural mormon family, lol. They were very nice, though. Just a bit strange.

The press isn't being irresponsible, they're being stonewalled. She's probably the first candidate in history to go this long without a press conference.

39 DAYS WITHOUT A PRESS CONFERENCE

She says we need to get to know the real Obama. How about getting to know her-- at all? Two controlled sit-down interviews (probably with restrictive ground rules) doesn't cut it. They're hiding her. It's obvious. It's shameful.

Neither did I. At the time I knew them, a lot of young families were involved in "the church", as they called it. I had a young family myself then, which is how I got to know some of them. I can say that their parenting skills caused some concern in the community. The pastor would put his own children in a cage for punishment. It was bizarre.

We did not wear long denim skirts or long hair. That was true for the 40s, 50s pentecostals but after the 70s things became more progressive.
