We can compare Bundys and Palins, but once you throw in the witch craft, the extreme religious beliefs of Sarah, the known screwups in Alaska etc, and I would almost have harmless Bundys running alongside McCain than the dangerous Palins.

Some family values. They only started squawking about it on the day that McCann filed for divorce.

Decent people would have at least had the so called "cojones" to have called Children's Services or the cops. But they all allowed that child to stay in an unsafe environment. What a bunch of freaks.
Well, if the boy getting tazed was just a made up lie, you sure don't want to be foolish enough to try to get the authorities involved to investigate such a thing.

It wasn't a made up lie; Wooten admitted to it himself.

This was SP's attitude towards her brother in law before the divorce:

Yes, it is scary, he seems to be her right arm, and she seems to be the kind of person who stops at nothing to do things HER way, or no way.

Havent we had enough of that in the last 8 years?.

Yeah, its only about whats in it for them. And I am sick of seeing that baby dragged to every speech, it really is beyond the pale, she uses it as a prop.

It reminds me of the scene from The Dead Zone[Stephen King] where the politician holds up a baby to save him from getting shot, will this woman stop at NOTHING?

How come no one in the AK govt questioned him showing up in the meetings? Just because they are married doesn't give him carte blanche to everything.

What is wrong with these people, that they let them get away with this?

Why were people in AK afraid to speak up????????????????????????????????

Plenty of people did. Senator Lyda Green, for one.

[quote=calmdude;5661285]Granted that sister Sarah has not had many non-Fox interviews, we have at least seen her around recently. Here is a report from LA Times --who did a lot of reviews of e-mail logs etc - that says it was Todd that was almost a fixture in the government. Source ( Sarah Palin's husband, Todd, was a fixture at governor's office - Los Angeles Times (http://www.latimes.com/business/careers/work/la-na-todd12-2008oct12,0,6898674.story?page=2 - broken link) )

He claims he is being singled out because his wife is the state's first woman governor. Nothing like playing the victim card. Nothing like avoiding the real question. Todd thinks this is about his wife's gender, when it is about him being in these meetings. He won't even address it.

What ever happened to the subpoena to court with him?

I think--and I'm not quite sure....that because he finally did cooperate with the investigation, that he won't be found in violation of refusing to honor a legislative subpoena. That's something the legislature will decide for themselves when they reconvene in January.
