I say that because the real feminists do hate men, and they aren't really for women so much as they are for an ideology. If they were really for women, they would celebrate Sarah Palin's accomplishments; but they don't.
What accomplishments? Most of us have done more than she has, and she's running for the friggin' VP of the United States?? Maybe for the manager of Wal-Mart - but VP??
I don't hate men at all, and I've been a feminist since 1968.
I find her to be experienced...cultured and deceptively bright.
IMHO she is qualified for the VP slot and the thought that a no-nonsense women will go to DC and take on the rampant corruption puts a smile on my face.
My only other option(s) represent that corruption FWIW
AFIK - Sarah Palin's family represents the true set of American Family Values not the nonsense preached by the right. I think spiteful, vindictive, stupid and bullying covers them fairly well and they learned it from her.
Dedicated Christian woman like so many here in "flyover country"
Worked hard to get where she is today
Smart. She has accomplished much. Her word is good.
She is the woman who's kids go to school with our kids (so to speak)
Knows what we go through day to day, because she has been there
Knows what America is supposed to be about.
Knows what to do about our current situation (grow the economy, reduce spending and taxes)
Tells it "like it is"
Pro life, pro woman (yet she doesn't "hate" men like feminists do), pro family, pro anyone who has a strong work ethic, pro America!
As a man, I would voter for her in a heartbeat, if she were running for President. And I have no doubt she would prove to be one of our greatest Presidents!
I love Sarah Palin because she got the uneducated, right winged, bible thumping, Neo-cons who never been exposed to anything but Nascar, and white people all rilled up, and it is very entertaining!
Not everyone defines Cultured by your standards...I'm sure I could ridicule your "cultured" based upon my standards.
Then again it might be a mute point as American history is full of Patriots that got the job done...and were considered "uncultured."
What's a "mute" point? A silent point? Sarah doesn't even read! Our LOCAL candidate's guide asked each candidate what their favorite book was. Sarah doesn't even read the news! I think there are some standard definitions of culture.
