I don't mean to discredit them for the way they voted. However, I personally did not see Sen. McCain sweep the floor this evening with Sen. Obama. If anything Sen. Obama was SLOPPY tonight, but Sen. McCain was also too WHINY tonight.

Sorry Barry, money has NOTHING to do with education in our schools.

A poor kid can get a good education without money.

He is totally lost!
Sorry but money has EVERYTHING to do with education. Why do you think the best public schools are in the wealthiest areas of the country. Why are private schools so expensive? You are paying for the education.
If money has nothing to do with education, why do a majority of inter-city schools have low test scores.

McCain is talking about choice so there is competition among schools to provide better education.

I just had an acquaintance of mine agree with her brother in law who wondered, "Is McCain a socialist?". "McCain?" I said. I asked how they got that idea and she said, "McCain, at the beginning of the debate, was talking about evening everything". Wha??? Are we watching the same debate?!?!

Sorry McCain...I'm not convinced that "Teach for America" is helping.

At the beginning of this debate I felt McCain was actually winning. Then about 15 minutes into it, he started to crumble. It seemed at first that Obama was speaking the same ol' same ol', then McCain started pointing fingers at Obama and Obama woke up. Strong start for McCain, but the majority of the debate..I'd say 75 percent of it was owned by Obama.

Anybody notice how many times John McCain blinks? It'll blow your mind.

He answered everything much more clearly and thoughtfully while still calling Obama out of his plans and for him to explain how they would work and be funded. He never did that. Obama ummmed and ahhed and held his head down and laughed uncomfortably which told me he couldn't answer. He has trillions of dollars in new spending and no way to fund it.
