I'm just shaking my head only 15 minutes into it... McCain just repeats the same tax proposal crap over and over again even after Obama shoots it down with a rational counterpoint. Are there any people out there that think McCain sounds logical and intelligent? McCain's "Bob the plumber"... poor guy only earns $250k+ per year... yea, like that's a typical plumber income; like this guy is the typical working-class guy. Come on... give me a break. Anyone else notice how McCain defines the middle class as including people who earn $250k per year and he defines the typical small businesses as those which likewise earn $250k+ per year. What planet is he on? I hope others realize the ridiculous nature of most of his points on the tax topic. His points are not grounded in the economic reality most of us are living.
That's because McCain is terribly out of touch with the common man. He has been way too rich way too long to even slightly identify with the ordinary American citizen. 250k a year may not make you a rich man if you are rich already, but I'd say atleast 85% of America's citizens would think they were rich men if they were to bring in that kind of money in a year.
Mc Cain has to always resort to attacks. I think Grandpa Skeletor is done. He is not convincing at all, can't even say anything without attacking Obama.
Well I for one am quite pleased that the candidates appear far more engaged with each other than in previous debates. First time we have seen some emotion from either.
McCain is looking better, however. It's about time he's had some emotion.
