For the millionth time, he did not show up at an Obama rally. Obama showed up in HIS neighborhood. So unless Obama was in on the "plant" that you are convinced of, it didn't happen.
Was "joe" sleeping in the park or near the rally point? Did Obama trip over "Joe" as he walked around the Rally? NO! Joe went to the Rally. He left his home, travelled to the Rally and then Obama "bumped into him". In fact "Joe" made sure he was close to Obama so he could shake his hand and ask the "important" question.
What are the odds that a random guy earning $40k/yr as an unlicensed plumber employee who happens to be related to Charles Keating of McCain's old scandal shows up at a Obama rally making odd statements about how Obama's tax plan might adversely affect his (nonexistent) plans to buy his employer's plumbing business? And he's got a lien from IRS for back taxes ($1200 is a lot for someone making $40k/yr). And this is the guy McCain dredges up to make a point?
It is an awful lot of coincidences, especially considering how little he actually know about buying a business or the tax proposals.
Odds are he was a plant, badly prepped and vetted, then used. Too many coincidences there to be really random.
Regardless of authenticity, the damage has been done to Obama's lead. Additionally, most debate listeners will never learn and remember how Joe was discredited; they'll just remember the highlights of the debate as it was broadcast. This is Karl Rove-ian politics at its best... make false accusations, use 3rd party people to make them for you when you can, sit back and think of something else you can accuse your opponent of.

And how do you measure the damage to his lead? Polls show Obama won and even the Republican's own focus group said it didn't work. That was reported by Chuck Todd on MSNBC today.
Joe the plumber cannot do any plumbing as he is not licenced. He probably works on the premises of the company or helps qualified plumbers. He should have his dream of maybe one day becoming a plumber or buying the company he works for. If Obama gets elected..Joe will have his chance to live his dream. He will get tax cuts and he will be able to save to buy his company. His company will flourish as more Americans will have money to employ his staff.

This is just too funny. Most of us are indifferent to plumbers, till we get their bill.
He is making at least a 1/4 million dollars a year...Is 900.00 really that much to beef about? I mean come on...

It is a 3% tax increase to people who make great money... a whole 3%. Not 10 or even 5%...3.
Which it was a 3% tax increase under Clinton...and we know what he did with the budget...
why is the issue taxing and not reducing spending? we have a candidate who is going to be spending on programs like crazy. we already have a bill in the gate to give taxpayers another rebate check courtesy of the democrats. if that isn't pandering for votes i don't know what is, since the last "incentive" check did absolutely nothing for our economy.
besides obama tax cuts for the middle class still involve a tax increase if you factor in his proposed elimination of the bush tax cuts (which nobody seems to be doing for the middle class).

Remember the door-to-door photo-op some you were so happy to see? Joe and his sone were minding their own business and up comes barry and his entourage into Joe's neighborhood to schmooze with the plain "folks".
So...did obama plant him? Does the guy really own that house where obama stopped to talk to the folks? Have you guys watched the tape?
