this is ridiculous.
"Spread the wealth around" means NOT taxing the middle class as much so they can have a better chance at financial growth while the people who can AFFORD to pay a little more, do.

he's not a socialist. That is just more absurd fear-mongering from teh McCain campaign to make Obama "Scary."

Hopefully most people know enough to know that the "socialist" name-calling is BS.

Since you dont know what socialism means, why even respond
what about the FREE PAYCHECK 40% of the people would get from taxing the rich.
That doesnt sound like what you are talking about.

WSJ weighing in on the possible filibuster proof government and the future destruction of what used to be called America.

A Liberal Supermajority - WSJ.com

The three I feel are a sure fire way to destroy the US in a recession bound economy.

Union supremacy. One program certain to be given right of way is "card check." Unions have been in decline for decades, now claiming only 7.4% of the private-sector work force, so Big Labor wants to trash the secret-ballot elections that have been in place since the 1930s. The "Employee Free Choice Act" would convert workplaces into union shops merely by gathering signatures from a majority of employees, which means organizers could strongarm those who opposed such a petition.

Medicare for all. When HillaryCare cratered in 1994, the Democrats concluded they had overreached, so they carved up the old agenda into smaller incremental steps, such as Schip for children. A strongly Democratic Congress is now likely to lay the final flagstones on the path to government-run health insurance from cradle to grave.

Socialism Alert! Socialism Alert!:

The green revolution. A tax-and-regulation scheme in the name of climate change is a top left-wing priority. Cap and trade would hand Congress trillions of dollars in new spending from the auction of carbon credits, which it would use to pick winners and losers in the energy business and across the economy. Huge chunks of GDP and millions of jobs would be at the mercy of Congress and a vast new global-warming bureaucracy. Without the GOP votes to help stage a filibuster, Senators from carbon-intensive states would have less ability to temper coastal liberals who answer to the green elites.

I'm sorry you're confused and you shift things around by trying to call ME ignorant.
Why don't you actually FIND OUT the truth rather than the spin. It might be good for you.

Because I have. that is the problem.
Let me ask you this simple question.
If Obama tax me more and then give this money to the poor, NOT AS A TAX CUT, since they dont even pay taxes but a check.
what would you call this?

Let me explain Joe the Rider
One of the main parts of socialism is the distribution of goods and money.
What that means??
Well that is simple.
Everybody makes the same amount of money.(just like in Cuba)
Why is Obama plan a step to socialism?
If you tax the rich, and use that money for other reasons would be ok.
But if you tax the rich, and use that money to make the poor richer. What do you think that is, well just like Obama said, spreading the wealth around.

Yup. I totally agree.

And you don't think there are PLENTY of other things already in place in the country that could fall under that category? how about nationalizing banks which Gool ol' John McCain was SUCH a cheerleader for? I guess that makes him a socialist too...
