Question Who is Voting 3rd Party?

Curious how many here are voting for someone other than McCain or Obama this election. And if so, is this the first time you are voting for a 3rd Party Candidate?

I'm not voting a third party. It's pretty much a wasted vote really.. AND those votes cast COULD change the election especially when it's close. Just think if all those "third party" voters would have voted for one of the two main parties we might not have had BUSH in office!!!!! And things would be a lot different for sure!.. and for the better.

I am voting third party and I have done it before. Until either of two parties puts up a candidate worthwhile and who honestly cares about the country, I will continue to vote third party.

I don't care if it sways the election one way or the other. It serves them right for giving us two idiot candidates.

It isn't a wasted vote. A wasted vote is voting for someone who you really don't believe in. If everyone would go with who they actually feels deserves to be POTUS then we might actually get someone capable of running this country.

Those that use the "wasted vote" excuse, need to read these:

I'm voting 3rd party for much of the same reasons other people gave - why vote for a candidate you really don't believe in? Still not sure which one though. This is the first time I've voted for one for president.

Thank you for this post. The whole media blitz focuses on the two main parties, leaving people to think they're resolved to vote for one monkey or the other. I'm betting there's a huge sector of the population that doesn't even stray from Rep or Dem because that's all they hear about on the television.

I am not even sure who the other choices are (besides the write in option we have) but I will not be voting for McCain or Obama and this will be my first election year not voting Republican. I think we need to remind everyone that Obama and McCain are not are only choices

I'm considering it. I've ruled out Obama, but I'm very worried about the direction the Republicans have led us. The past eight years have told me that they need to be turned out into the wilderness for a while to get their bearings. I do respect and admire Sen. McCain, but I also want to go to bed Nov. 4 knowing that I acted according to my conscience. It's a hard decision.

After voting for the GOP faithfully and seeing the dreadful results, How can I go back to them again?
