"The Bangor Daily News said Saturday that John McCain has a long record of distinguished service but has compromised his principles to get elected. The newspaper said his choice of Sarah Palin as running mate was “reckless” and allowing his campaign to paint Obama as a friend of terrorists because of an association with a 1960s radical was even worse."

OMG, this is too funny. And Susan Collins (R/Maine), who is suddenly in a tight race is pleading with McCain and his Rovian team of slime artists to take down the robo-calls. They pretty much told her where to head in.

Too bad she's likely to lose, she's actually not a bad R, and when the Ds end up with a 62/36/2 majority, they can tell dirt bag Lieberaman (I/ANYWHOREHOUSEUSA) to take a hike.

And they can thank McCain/Palin 2008 for putting them in that position.

I think she has enough of a lead that she will be okay. I don't think she's bad, either. She's pretty popular here, actually. I actually have a relative in the State legislature...he's a Republican. I haven't seen him in years, though...and I honestly don't even know what his political views are.
