How simply but profoundly put, this article drives home the fact that IF Obama does win, he will be in constant battle with one side of the other...his base camp or the nation which only rates the Dem Congress at a 10% approval rating...MUCH less than Bush approval rating.

Just wondering, who you Dem's going to blame when you have no one to blame but your own party since they will have total, uncontrolled control for decisions being made and they are currently seen unfavorably by 90% of the country???

The Barack backlash

We'll blame the Party in power...sheesh. That's what we do. The Republican Liberal Socialist party is in power now...see the correlation?

Pat Buchanan is entertaining - I enjoy hearing him and reading what he has to say. I rarely agree with him, and this is no exception.

They'll still blame the republicans. You certainly don't expect democrats to take responsibility for there own actions do you?

I think the economic chasm the whole world is facing requires all of us to pull together.

I wish people would stop comparing approval ratings between the President and the congress. That's apples and oranges. Congress always has lower approval ratings, but they are re-elected at a higher rate than the president. People complain about he congress as a group not getting anything done - but that's the way it is designed. It's supposed to do thing only when there's concensus. The president, on the other hand, is solely responsible for his rating. When he's at 20%, it's because he sucks.

Besides, how does your description not apply to McCain? If he's elected, he'll be in a battle with the same two groups.

Finally, we Dems have no problem blaming other Dems when they don't do what we want. You'll see the dreaded liberal MSM bashing Obama, just as they bashed Clinton. Only the GOP demands cheerleading from its supporters.

You got that right. After all, the 2000 recession was Bush's fault. FranRon and FredRon are Bush's fault. A couple of years in... Obama will be Bush's fault.

Unfortunately, the fool's who're really responsible will change their UserID's so we'll never be able to identify them.

I'll be laughing either way.
