Spending all this money for a race this close???
Doesn't it seem odd that the race is THIS close given ALL the money Bubba HO has spent???
Regardless of which party you support, it IS a fact that the Dem's have outspent the Rep's by a LOT of $$$$$.

Why the country is split in how it views issues and every recent presidential election has been close. Even when Bush outspent and won it was close in the popular vote. Do you think the conservatives who voted for Bush are going to embrace Obama the Liberal just because McCain is such a loser?

Reality Check...... The reason this is a tight race is because Obama is is black! PERIOD! (BTW....I'm a white female before we start judging here) I hate to admit this as a anti-Hillary supporter but if Hillary was running against McCain, she would have killed him in the General Election. I was not a Hillary supporter in the Primary but you bet I would have voted for her to prevent these two clowns from winning. It makes no sense to slam Obama because he is running a brilliant campaign and has raised more millions than McCain. Too freakin bad! Don't kid yourself, if McCain had the same money, he would be spending it too to attack Obama. With the little money he does have, he spends it with ridiculous and outrageous personal attack ads which include the robo calling phone calls which ties Obama to terrorists to scare the voters which is a disgrace. I'm so glad Obama is spending all his millions to kick Grampie McCain's butt. People can call it buying the White House. I call it smart politics. Can't wait to tune in to Obama's prime time spot a week before the election. You go Obama.
OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT!

BS!!!! The reason that it is so close is because there a very many people who are scared of his political policies. PERIOD!!! Stop trying to bring race into every damn discussion. That is what is wrong with so many ObamaBots. You seem to think that everything revolves around race. It does not and you need to get over it and stop trying to use it to get your way.

In prior elections, the big pot of money was with the GOP, and it got them the white house.
This year, we the people are putting up our money in record amounts to take back the white house from the GOP ho's who've run it into the ground for 8 years and made our nation the laughing stock of the world.
This year, the shoe is on the DEM foot and the asses being kicked are the GOP asses; just listen to them whine and boo-hoo about the DEMs having a ton of money to campaign with.
Hey there GOP'ers, want some cheeeeeeeeese with that whine????

Excellent post. Now here's a person who knows what she's talking about and I'm proud we're on the same side. Great minds think alike.

Most voters can look past his skin color and see the same old liberal (bordering on socialist) that Obama really is. His policies and ideology is no different than the liberals who have come before him. Kerry, Gore, Dukakis, McGovern.
Top that off with THE least experienced candidate ever and you have a recipe for great doubt about the guy.
Add to that his troublesome associates.

Um..wrong. The democrats outspent the republicans in 2004. Obama outspent Hillary in the big swing states - and still lost.
See, most people might take a dim view of a candidate trying to buy the WH the way that Obama is. At some point, the saturation of advertising his campaign is doing could backfire.
