Well, given the way this poll is worded, I can see that you are voting McCain, but I have to agree with some of your points here.

You dont have to comment unless you want to, though if I left some things out I'd appreciate if folks would add those.

edit - no, it's not humor or sarcasm.

I agree, pirate girl. There are several reasons I'm voting for Obama instead of bush, Jr., I mean McCain. They both have some ideas I agree with and some I don't. Obviously there are more I agree with Obama on. But, and I have noticed this after I already decided who I'm voting for, most of what McCain and Palin are saying are comments about their opponents, not about their ideas. I'm not saying that's all they talk about, because I know they do talk about their ideas on what they want to do if elected. And most of the stupid emails people make up about things Obama have said and done remind me of what's on the ground under the north end of a south bound bull! Before I started deleting all the "anti-Obama" emails without even opening them, I would check it out in snopes.com. Haven't seen a true one yet!
I'll get off my soap box now. And good luck to both parties in all elections next month.

I agree with you that those emails saying that obama is a secret muslim or that obama is hates white people are false.
But, I do think it is fair to wonder that perhaps he has socialist ideology. After all, using the phrase 'distribution of wealth' and 'spreading the wealth around' do have socialist conotations. And that I personally find worrisome.

This is America. We are all socialists to some degree. Get over it.

I would if I were rich enough to afford it or poor enough to benefit from it.
And for what its worth, neither mccain nor W are fiscal conservatives in the least, either.
