Yes, and very much like 1939, when the French defended the Maginot Line against the Nazi war machine, who simply drove around the side of it and crushed the French. What McCain is defending is going to cost him another million votes, another 1-2% drop for McCain in the national polls. Even GOP Senators have asked him to stop making those calls in their states. McCain is turning into a total lunatic before our eyes.

To the few who are attempting to justify McCain's vile robocalls and mailers:

You may recall that several weeks ago at one of his rallies, McCain stated that "Obama is a decent person and a person you don't have to be scared of as president of the United States." "He is a decent family man and citizen..."

Considering these statements, how can you reconcile the manner in which McCain is now blatantly misleading the public and slandering a decent family man by insinuating that Obama is affiliated with terrorists?
