Obama compared to mass murderer Charles Manson at Palin/Coleman rally in MN

It's really stuff like this, and the Falwellians in OH, etc. that really make me question why I post here. I mean... anyone who would associate themselves under the same umbrella of people who proclaim this; or: Obama is a terrorist, Obama is a Muslim (like that's a big deal even if he is); or one who carries around a monkey with an Obama headband; or even the McCain rally 'Crazy Woman' really shouldn't be dignified with intelligent conversation.

More nastiness from the classless right-wing.

Coleman has publicly stated he wants the robo-calls by McLame's campaign to STOP! He knows this is HURTING his chances against Al Franken.

Even though I dont live in MN. I sent money to Al Franken cause America needs people like Franken in the Senate as much as we dont need people like Coleman.

Charles Manson was a community organizer, so was Jesus Christ!

The people responsible for this are John McCain and Sarah Palin. The former for refusing, in no uncertain terms, to put a stop to it. And the latter, for deliberately flaming the fires of hate, racism and xenophobia at her rallies. The two of them really are the most despicable human beings I've seen in "public service" in a very, very long time.

And that's why I sent money yesterday to Elwyn Tinklenberg (D) to beat the incumbent GOP congresswoman Michelle Bachmann, a total wack job in her own right, who made a fool of herself on Hardball with Chris Matthews the other day.

Before this is over, the GOP will link Obama to Adolf Hitler, Rasputin the Mad Monk, Jack the Ripper, Benedict Arnold, et al. I can't figure if the GOP is actually trying to lose the election by insulting us to the point we'll vote for Obama -who will get tarred by the upcoming economic disaster that is just unfolding. Or is the GOP really this hateful and vile that they'll seriously stoop this low. I have to think the latter, as there's too much money at stake by being in charge of the graft and corruption that they crave it above all principal, above all honor, above all else to the detriment of our nation.

The pov from a few determine your pov for the majority? Usually you have much brighter post then this...a few alcoholic drinks tonight or something that we can chalk up the ignorance to?

The Hitler comparison has already arrived: it appeared as a thread today.

These people are truly insane. The last time I saw such hatred spewed by Americans, en masse, was during the Civil Rights era. Who knew there was such an intense level of racism still in this country??? I've been living in Massachusetts for too long.
