Enough with the scare tactics. It's pure B.S.

From the Tax Policy Center's (a nonpartisan analysis of the two tax plans, McCain's and Obama's (bottom of page 3):

"The two candidates’ tax plans would have sharply different distributional effects. Senator McCain’s tax cuts would primarily benefit those with very high incomes, almost all of whom would receive large tax cuts that would, on average, raise their after-tax incomes by more than twice the average for all households. Many fewer households at the bottom of the income
distribution would get tax cuts and those tax cuts would be small as a share of after-tax income. In marked contrast, Senator Obama offers much larger tax breaks to low- and middle-income taxpayers and would increase taxes on high-income taxpayers. The largest tax cuts, as a share of income, would go to those at the bottom of the income distribution, while taxpayers with the highest income would see their taxes rise significantly."

How in the world does anyone justify voting for EITHER of these clowns based on the following:

Quote:
Senator Obama’s plan as described by his economic advisers would increase the ten-year cumulative deficit by about $3.6 trillion to $5.9 trillion; Senator McCain’s plan would boost it by $5.1 trillion to nearly $7.4 trillion.
Our economy is a complete disaster and neither of these fools can focus on taking the basic step of REDUCING the deficit, not INCREASING it.

When the Federal Government is bankrupt just think about how many more people will be uninsured, homeless, and out of work.

Sadly enough it is WAY too late for a real candidate to show up and offer actual change and improvement over the current situation. So here we are with a situation where somehow Obama and McCain actually look good to people.

Since 1998 my salary has slightly more than doubled. I am nowhere NEAR the top 1%. And just as an FYI, in 2006 the top 1% that you are quoting was $388k.

Yeah, like Warren Buffet is going to feel any kind if tax increase, but all those so called wealthy that earn over 250,000 will. I always get a kick out of these liberal Billionaires who already have theirs but want to see the other guy still trying to make his, get penalized!

Here is a site with lots of info on the budget. I know nobody cares because it is more fun to trash Palin or to call other People terrorists, but people need to pay attention to what actually matters, and neither of these two candidates is doing anything of significance to help us.

How does he plan to "spread the wealth"? The money has to come from somewhere and he sure won't take it from his own pocket. He will INDEED raise taxes until he breaks the back of America and that will include each and everyone of you who voted for him.
