It is what it is. How can he make something appear to be something its not ? What would you call it ? Freedom of speech ? That might be so, but it's still a racist blatant statement, whether he felt free to express it or not by hanging this garbage.

Stupid, stupid man! While I think this guy deserves all the misery that will come his way as a result of doing this......... he has a right to do it in America. It's vile, mean, and ignorant but it's his private property. I fear the day when we curtail free speech (we already have to some degree...i.e. don't mouth off to the TSA guy at the airport) because dissent is what we were founded on.
This is a dying way of thinking, the younger generations will be baffled by these kinds of people one day. That is where we need to focus on, teaching our kids to have respect for all.
no it's not, and the scumbag government has no business on his property. it's called property rights. if their is no neighborhood association with rules against this, they have no leg to stand on. the only "threat" is freedom.

yup, no liberal would do anything evil towards mccain. especially not a professional liberal photographer. a professional would be, well, professional right?
well, maybe not.
It is vampire season. (but i think that the photo would be upsetting to vampires!!!!)
The unmodified photo was on Atlantic Monthly. The modified one was on the photographers website.
The New York Post published it in their "Trend" section, on Vampire Style.
No intent to decieve the vampire photo as real. Yes, still professional.
no, they are both offensive, but they all have the right to free speech. I do believe the teacher should have been fired though. political brainwashing at such a young age at a government school is SCARY.

Just because the fool hung it on his property, does not mean it isn't threatening. For that matter, a person could do a number of threatening actions on their property, and if so, it would be dangerous to ignore.

Exactly. I'll be glad when all the ignorant racists die off.
what is the threat? when is the last time a president was hung? what law does this violate? I find mccain and obama yard signs in my neighborhood threatening. they threaten freedom. doesn't mean they are breaking any laws.
