Any international conflict, I'm confident that Senator Obama along with Biden and the like by his side will be able to tackle it, and maybe for once not act in such a warmongerish sort of way! I'd like to see the way his approach would be different, and I know that it would. I think that he has the even temperment and compromising attitude to make sure that everyone is satisfied! I have faith in him and his team of advisors!

And you are involved in two arguments -- one with merit, the other without.
Barack Hussein Obama is a name, not a religous affiliation. Frankly, even if it were muslim does not equate with terrorism. Now, if michelle were dressed in a burqa and obama named bin laden as a mentor you would have a point. But right now....you don't.
As to obama having socialist ideology --- yeah, here you have a legitimate point of contention. By linking his 'muslim sounding name' to socialism you are muddying the waters of your own debate. I mean, think of it -- name one socialist muslim country. You can't because it doesn't exist!

What did Biden say that was such a gaffe? He meant that any president would be tested.

McCain's shown himself to be too emotional, temperamental, and impulsive. He doesn't inspire confidence.

He "meant" that? How do you know?

Because if that's what he meant, it's clearly not what he said. He said IF Obama is elected, he will be tested. He did not say "Our next President will be tested". He was very specific.

And I think this is far better than being too unemotional, too focused, too practiced, too plastic, too fake, too rehearsed. The man is a robot with no sensitivity whatsoever.

I'm looking for real people to lead our country, people who sense and feel emotion and can relate to all U.S. citizens the way Palin and McCain do.

Biden was clearly trying to make the point that something will happen under any presidency that we cannot predict, something unexpected that will be a test. But of course people will run with a soundbite and try to spin it in their favor.

"Remember I said it standing here. if you don't remember anything else I said. Watch, we're gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy. And he's gonna have to make some really tough -- I don't know what the decision's gonna be, but I promise you it will occur. As a student of history and having served with seven presidents, I guarantee you it's gonna happen..."

Biden then went on to say people will find Obama has "steel in his spine."

As for having "real" presidents. That's dangerous thinking IMO. Its what got Bush in the office twice and has not done this country a whole lot of good. Personally I don't want my angry high school Gym teacher or the kooky church lady down the street as President or VP. But hey that's just me.

Obama on the other hand lived and went to school in Kenya. BOTH my parents were born here, both his were not.
I doubt you can say your great grandparents were born here, but I can.
It was personal, proving my point-. It was also Raciest. You hate Italians.
