He's just trying to CYA because if God forbid they are elected he needs to try to explain now why their approval ratings will be in the negative numbers.

I don't see why this statement is a big deal. Look at this year alone. Of course there will be things that will happen. Obama will be a new leader and people will I'm sure want to see what kind of leader he will be. I think of the first day of school when the class test a new teacher. I think Obama will be able to lead and it will not matter what comes to him. He is a leader and will surround himself with others from both sides to work with him. I for one have no worries.

Didnt you read the article?!

Palin only wishes she had the wherewithal to say something like this. This should be McCain's concession speech.

As an American this should give you heart for the fight ahead. Are you actually "anti-American"?!

Yep and he won't know what to do and then you'll see just how inept this guy is.

I know I'm glad I don't live any tall buildings or major population areas. He will be tested and from what I've seen he will fail. You can't smooth talk your way out of a crisis.

Well, good for you. But if we are to believe what Joe Biden is telling us you should be very worried ... if not terrified.

What Biden has said is that something so terrifying, so horrific, will happen within 6 months of taking office that he and Obama will have to make decisions that will not be popular, that will seem wrong at the time, and all their supporters are going to have to be strong and convince their neighbors that all will be well in the end. He further says that their polls will plunge as a result of their decisions.

I can remember a few short months into Bush's first term something terrifying happened. He had to make decisions that were not popular and seemed wrong at the time (and for a long time to come). His polls plunged. Hmmmmm .....

This is an incredible gift from Joe the gaffe-master.

He is guaranteeing a manufactured crisis to test the mettle of this weak, lamb-like liberal. That's supposed to be comforting?

And then, the topper. We are most likely to be wrong!

Priceless!

Where's the McCain ad? What.an.incredible.gift.

The Matthew 25 Network is a community of Christians – Catholic, Protestant, Pentecostal, and Evangelical – inspired by the Gospel mandate to put our faith into action to care for our neighbor, especially the most vulnerable.

The election of our public officials, and the politics they stand for, are a reflection of our core values. We believe that those elected to public office carry an important trust, as their decisions have a profound impact on our nation and our world.
