Everytime I come on this board, I am reminded of how many rednecks still exist in this country. God.

What are you talking about? "Americans hate towards catholic churches", and "hate towards irish and german people"? I have no idea what you are talking about. WHat does any of that have to do with the presidential race anyway? I'm Irish, German, Catholic AND an Obama supporter, so what does that make me I wonder? And for the OP, how does Obama's name have anything to do with 9/11? I think it says a lot for this country that we are finally considering electing a president with African heritage. If only the small minds weren't determined to see him fail just because he doesn't fit the typical good old boy image that so many still seem to think our president must fulfill.

Another definition of insanity. Biden scares her but Palin is great.

How is it possible in 2008 to be so ignorant as to judge a person by their name...

How is it posible after 9/11 to elect a president with the Name Barack Hussan Obama?

Answer: It's not possible. However, we do have a candidate by the name of Barack Hussein Obama who's doing quite well and may in fact be elected President.

But to answer the fear (I'm being generous) behind the question, this is America - anything is possible. Is this a great country or what?
