But I think most of the country will get along fairly well.

I've already seen the black helicopters in my state (AK)...several times. There are absolutely NO markings on them...at all, but they appear to be military/police of some sort. Very strange. Who do they belong to? What are they used for? Why are there no markings?

Most common, but now deprecated: U.S. National Missile Defense, the limited ground-based nationwide antimissile system in development since the 1990s. In 2002 this system was renamed to Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD), to differentiate it from other missile defense programs, such as space-based, sea-based, laser, or high-altitude intercept programs. As of 2006, this system is operational with limited capability. It is designed to intercept a small number of nuclear-armed ICBMs in the mid-course phase, using interceptor missiles launched from Alaska. They use non-nuclear kinetic warheads.

Republicans blasted Clinton for 8 years and now Democrats have blasted Bush for 8 years. Do you really think anything will change on 1/20? If Obama wins it just gives me more reason to tune into Rush everyday for the Daily dress down of Senator Socialism.....

For some reason, the main strength of our goverment is that it is us and we actually can impact it and make changes seems to escape. Nothing Utopian about it, although who would not want to live a Utopian lifestyle, simply what happened under Clinton. The theory of all boats rising is better than the theory of throwing the scraps to the dogs for humanity. In the first we do not drown and create a might Armada, in the second if we slip and fall as we feed the dogs, we are eaten.

I just believe in a tipping point. That's the point where things like:

"I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands: one Nation under God, indivisible, With Liberty and Justice for all."

get changed. Where it won't be by the people for the people anymore. Maybe I'm paranoid

Things like UHC once started never go back. It would be disastrous to try and change it back from government ran to privately ran if it fails.

Will an Obama presidency sink the Titanic? Oh wait, that's already happened too.

This country has been polarized for longer than Barack Obama has been alive.

The problem is that with a Democratic Congress and Obama as President, they will pass that damn Fairness Doctrine they want so bad. The rights that have radio and television shows will most likely be put out of business. This is what the Dems want to do. They wish to silence any and all who dare to say anything against them.
