with all this anti-dictator and commie talk by americans, americans installed the shah communist regime and overthrowed a democratic elected goverment...
The list of examples of US intervention in the affairs of foreign nations is long. Check out the findings of the Church Committee Senate Hearings which details the misdeeds of our CIA. The US government has supported the rise fascist right wing dictatorships around the world over the past 60 years. We have blood on our hands.

Results of the Hearings on CIA misdeeds, 1973 Church Committee. NCOIC

The U.S. has for decades had a penchant for interfering in the elections of countries in which it has influence, so the NFL analogy doesnt exactly translate well.

History provides many examples of US influence in the democratic processes of other countries. To get a feel for how that works, imagine the Kremlin providing funding and support to a US Presidential candidate it feels is ''pro-Kremlin''.

No. It's because as America goes, so goes the world.

Default Amazing...

It is truly amazing that some people on this forum can't see the GLOBAL picture. Not realizing how YOUNG this country is, and how much of an influence we are on the rest of the world. Let them journey to Europe or Israel and see how long civilizations have existed, and how we are in our infancy in this country.

One poster said that Obama supports don't THINK past the ends of their noses. How ironic that she would post this. I think it is the other way around, and I do believe that the saying goes "Can't SEE past the end of their noses."

To quote the great Albert Einstein (a European)...

"Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity;
and I'm not sure about the universe."

obama is loved around the globe, and most around the globe hate the US. do that math. he may be liked around the globe, he's just an embarrassment to most americans. this country is far from being in the infancy stage. this country is on its last legs. the states will not be united in 50 years.

What a stupid,narrow minded thing to say. You just MIGHT care if we ever need their help. It's shallow ,selfish thinking like that that's ruining our fine country.
