I was wondering if anybody else feel so angry at others for the things they say on these threads. I just can't believe how ignorant people are. I also can't believe how easy it is to get into it with people. This election has really brought out the worse in some people. There are some times when it just really is sad. There are times when I find myself saying just get off and here I still sit. Two more weeks and then I'm sure it will go on but in a different way. What really has mad me angry is the people who are really nasty on the thread about Obama's Grandmother being ill. Perhaps having feedom of speach shouldn't apply to all.

Well, I get angry that people have to be so mean to eachother. Respectful debates are possible and some people here are respectful. I don't see the need to tear eachother apart. It's very immature.

Oh, it's awful. It seems like there are a few people on this forum who have some reason--definitely the minority though.

This campaign though....I've studied past campaign's and this'll go down as one of the worst. 1800, 1828 and 1860 could have been worse than this one...sheesh

I agree, which is why I don't really post here anymore- just the scariest, weirdest, sickest people from both sides come out of the woodwork. Although very easy to get sucked back in, I really don't believe the majority of Americans feel such hatred toward another human being.

I stayed out of the P and OC forum altogether until recently when I got pulled in by the election. Yes, I think some of the people who post on here are hatefu. I was unhappy with the thread about Obama's grandmother, but it's going on unabated.

I think it's the mindset of a lot of people in general, not just regarding the election. "My state is better than your state!" "My favorite singer has more talent than your favorite singer" and on and on. Very very sad.

Sounds like my six year old fighting over who has more pop in their cups.

I believe you are right. I am a white conservative male, and across the street are my two neighbors, one black, one Puerto Rican, both voting for Obama, and I for McCain. We borrow each others garden tools, drink beer in the driveway together, and talk about football, women and politics. Funny thing...we all agree on just about every issue there is like family, morality, the government being a bunch of crooks on both sides, LOL!!

The only difference between us....one works for UPS, one works for Citibank...and I work for myself as the owner of a small business. Which is why I am the only one voting for McCain out of the group.

I hate that stuff too, but you do know my dad can beat your dad up, right?
