He hasn't had a press conference in over a month, and Senator Obama is dodging his press corps.

Where's the confidence, or have they already acknowledged that they're going to lose this election because they've been caught with their hand in the "voter fraud" cookie jar?

Your insane. The guy is all over the news and most recently for the gaffe he made about Obama being tested in his first 6 months. Just because Palin is making controlled speeches does not mean she is out in front of the press. Look at what happens when she speaks.

The reason why most of the candidates aren't doing press conferences or similar is probably because the only questions they are being asked by the press are about being linked to a terrorist, being too old, saying stupid stuff etc. It's crunch time and it's time to deliver their stances on issues and not defend false or minuscule allegations. I would rather have them talk about the issues than answer questions from reporters trying to make the front page or get ratings.

I guess he figures that if he prepares us for what's in store, at least you can't say you didn't know what you were getting yourself into.

Honestly, I'm not exactly sure why it matters, but the Dems here were making a big deal about her being "inaccessable" when Governor Palin was doing campaign events and appearing on talk shows.

Maybe it's something about the events not being called "press conferences"?

I really don't know how the argument even works, but the Dems. thought it was a big story for Palin, so I don't see why it wouldn't be a big story for Biden.

Nope. She's lying or spewing GOP talking points. Biden said that Obama would pass.
