McCain will atleast get the votes from the inbred hillbillies in the honky tonks of the far Western Mountains of that state.

No asheville isn't the honky tonks. Asheville has the liberal population with a family tree more defined than a stump.

I know. That's why I was confused.

If anything, McCain will do well with the old Country Club crowd in Hendersonville. He'll also do well in the SE portion of the state.

The cities: The Triangle, Triad, and Asheville will go for Obama. I don't know about Wilmington or Charlotte.

Charlotte has a lot of urban sprawl, walmart shopping, suburbnities that just love Palin. They love people who's idea is destroying nature for big box stores with no soul that sell cheap crap from China.

McCain will win Raleigh/outlying eastern suburb towns, but Obama will win Chapel Hill/Durham, certainly not the triangle as a whole. McCain will win the state without a doubt.
