I agree with you here. I enjoy seeing so many folks getting involved and engaged for a change. I wish it were this way every election cycle, regardless of party.

You might want to look at the numbers for McCain on National Security. McCain has the edge in trust on this issue, 51% to 45%.

Both parties face tough core issues in the election, starting with the global war on terror.

McCain comes out way ahead in polling on National Security issues not only in Colorado.

Couldn't agree more. I think people are learning more about the financial sector of the government and this is important.

I know the answer, but I'll wait.
Energizing the base while chasing all the independents away...

Keep up the good work Sarah!

The OP is a typical Repub strategy(does it continually)....

1. throw out a lie or half truth.

2. never answer a direct question about the statement.

3. by the time the truth is exposed some real dopes already believe the lie.

If you look at a map, you'll see how small, population-wise GJ is comparison to St Louis/KC, and their respective suburbs.

That may be the case.

But it all comes out in the wash with the question "who are you voting for?"

Good point actually. I have friends who are voting for McCain but they went to the Obama rally. A large crowd does not indicate universal support at the event. And a lot of independents go to these events to make up their mind.

Grand Junction, CO? I bet the second biggest event there is the introduction of Velcro or the Red Lobster opening.

So are you making a point as to how many people actually showed up? It was in a baseball field that they say holds 18,000 to 20,000 and they shoved em' in there.

So I wonder how many people were actually there; well I went to the blogs of people who attended and here's one interesting comment that related to how many people were at Suplizio for Sarah Palin's rally;

Just for the record, and I don't know why everyone is counting because the pictures alone are worth a thousand words, but, as of last Saturday morning over 15,000 people went on line and registered to attend Sarah Palin's speech. Another fact that you may find interesting is that Republicans actually go out and vote when they say they are going to and Democrats usually wait around for somebody to do it for them.
If this is true, I think it demonstrates that Dems are really proficient at dividing by 2.

If you're from Arizona, California, Las Vegas, Havasu, etc., I wouldn't go makin' too much fun of Grand Junction Colorado. They're upstream from you, if you know what I mean.
