Default Campaigning next to a polling place?

Sarah Palin is campaigning today in Henderson NV at the Henderson Pavilion which is right next door to the Henderson Public Library. In fact they share the same parking lot.

Early voting is taking place at the library while Sara is campaigning. Is this legal? I thought it was not legal to campaign outside a polling place.

Just heard on CNN about a woman who was turned away from a voting station because she was wearing a Obama T-shirt, by law she was campaigning!
She did however turn the shirt inside out and was allowed to vote.

Most places I've been outside is OK, some areas may have a distance limit, usually in ft.

The standard may vary by state, but I think it is 100 or 150 feet away from the polling place to not be considered electioneering. We always have people out in the parking lots campaigning for their candidates on election days.

She will go back to Alaska and face her abuse of power charges. That issue is not resolved yet.
