Default A little humor from Fred Thompson

Attending a computing conference in Las Vegas right now, and the keynote speaker this morning was Senator/Actor Fred Thompson (yeah, I know WHAT does he have to do with computing?). In any event at least PART of his speech was mildly entertaining. At one point he was discussing the massive problems the country faces (economic and otherwise) and going over all the daunting tasks the new President (WHOEVER he is) will have and mentioned that...

"...this may be the first Presidential Election where the WINNER demands a recount"

He got a good laugh.

I have to admit that I wouldn't want the job (especially this time around).

I would be willing to bet that folks on the right today would do just about anything to have ole Fred on the ballot. I have this feeling that Fred has had these thoughts all the way back last October, hence his nonchalance during his campaign. Who could blame him
