Larijani: Iran prefers Obama - Israel News, Ynetnews

Quote:
We are leaning more in favor of Barack Obama because he is more flexible and rational, even though we know American policy will not change that much," Larijani said at a press conference during a visit to Bahrain.
You mean he is perceived as weaker and a push-over?

Quote:
"The risk was low before," he said. "But now I am 100% certain that the United States will not unleash a war against Iran. The economic crisis has cost the United States $1.4 trillion and Washington is working to resolve its internal problems and not a war."
I'm sure they are wishing us all the best.

Translation from Iran pretty much means; We believe that Barack Obama gives us the best chance to blow Israel off the face of the earth and then blow America off the face of the earth next.

All the more reason to vote against him. Do you think these countries have the best interests of the US in their hearts?

This is just too rich, I mean you can't buy this kind of PR from an ad agency.

From the actual article it states they feel he is more flexible and rational

Which is then translated to mean, "weakness".

This is pretty much the essence of faith based life in America. Rational thought is weak...

Whats next, burning liberals at the stake on the White House lawn? Calling Bachmann to the white phone...

Well let's think about that for a moment...given the past 8 Bush years, probably not! DUH!

Could THAT be why they don't want anymore McBush?

Intelligence is something to be derided and humiliated. Rational behavior is to be expunged from public policy. The founding fathers would be ashamed.
