I recall living part of my life in wisconsin. they, some people, used to say, you're not a wisconsin hillbilly unless your wife weighs more than your pickup truck, you've got 3 broken appliances sitting on your front porch, and a rifle rack in your pickup truck!

Can you McCain/Palin supporters honestly think this is acceptable if she spoke like this to other Foreign leaders and citizens of other countries? She is appalling.
I have nothing wrong with rednecks. Kill your deer, fix your truck, whatever. However, that is not a qualification for the White House. Just appalling I say.

I think the point is that they spent DONORS' money on clothes that could have cost a lot less. And, they would have had more money for real things like advertisements, offices in different states, etc.

I thought she dressed nicely before, too. She's the Governor, what exactly was wrong with her old wardrobe? I can understand buying a few outfits, but $150,000 is a lot of money to spend, when she had to have had perfectly appropriate clothing to begin with. To me, really, this isn't an issue. If the Republicans want to spend money this way, then let them. But I'm still wondering why there was a need to do so.
