Leon Wieseltier had a great article today, in the "New Republic". He talks about having to hold his nose in a lot of elections and not having been totally caught up in any candidate. But the best thing he said, and I think a lot of people are coming around to this thought is:

I added the word fundamentalist because I don't think this man or I wanted to insult "Christians". Most Christians aren't the problem any more than most Muslims are the problem. It's just those who see everything thorugh the lens of Christianity as an overarching element of everything we all say and do.
