you're right, that's technically not true. The correct line is 95% of working families. It's still quite the accomplishment though, and not too far from the original line.

I'd say it's more misleading than outright lie.

Like Obama said he is not going to raise taxes and when he gets in office he raises them?

On Aires:
"I did not know him, I only served on a board with him"

On rev wright:
"I never heard him say any of those things"

As yet to be decided:
"I was born in Hawaii"
The reason I say as yet to be decided is a recording of a lady claiming to be his grandmother in kenya stating she witnessed his birth there. Berg may be right he may be wrong, I'll wait to see how this plays out.

"I will take public funding"

My favorite Dem lie is that Republicans are to blame for the housing crisis/foreclosures.

To be honest, James, my real belief is that the people who are responsible for the "bad loans" are the greedy so-and-so's who couldn't afford the dang house, knew they couldn't afford the dang house, never bothered to question why all of a sudden they could have a home they couldn't afford before, but took the loan anyway.

The same people (and that's a lot of Americans) who run up huge credit card debt b/c they just can't live without the latest 'ICrap' or new truck or eating at a restaurant 5 days a week, etc. But you'll never hear anyone say that b/c it's not 'PC.' And I believe neither candidate is willing to alienate this population by saying, "It's your own fault."

I don't blame the banks or the political parties b/c I don't believe it's the job of these people to be your mommy and do your math for you and pat you on the head and tell you everything is going to be ok.

Really? Barney Franks and Dodd are republicans? ACORN is funded by republicans? Hmmm, interesting that republicans forced Freddie and Fannie to loan to subpar buyers.
Now what Cox and Bernake did is a whole different subject.

The greatest Dem lie is Noboma itself. Is he an American? No one really can say for sure. What does he stand for? He would make a great windsock since he seems to spin whichever way the wind blows.

The greatest lie, that your taxes won't be going up.

Dems are a dimwitted bunch and easily lead.
