how long will it be until he steals our social security to fund the war and then says whats left needs to be invested? Wow if we did what he and Bush suggested, investing it in the market... that would be tanked along with our 401k's right now...

Once again, we have Republicans pointing fingers on fiscal responsibility. Even though they have proven themselves to be the biggest hoarders of the national treasury in history.

Please, take some lessons in accounting before lecturing us on spending.

McCain and the GOP intend to kill all entitlement programs, though they will NOT come right out and say so. They have a deep disgust for the average working person and think all money belongs to them. They believe entitlement programs are not sustainable in the long term and want to take steps to ruin the whole suite of them: Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Food Stamps, AFDC, Unemployment, Veterans Administration, etc. Their 'model' for this are the illegal aliens, who work furiously to survive without any safety net whatsoever, much like our grandfathers had to. They want to take us back to the dark ages.

Their plan for Social Security is to keep raising the retirement ages and to shift it to private accounts so that Wall Street can make another freaking fortune those pigmen don't deserve. McCain already says he wants to cut Medicare $800B over ten years, how else to pay for his tax cuts for the fat cats in the top 1-3% of the society.

Outside the 1-3% of the very wealthy, anyone who votes for the GOP is voting against their own future.

Just more stupid Republican scare tactics.

If you want a more lucid explanation of the professor's proposal and what we might actually expect in the way of 401K reform, take a look at this link:

We certainly have a lot of 'Ready, Fire, Aim' posters on this forum.
Gosh! it would be swell if you are right... I really mean that.

Will you report back to us when your 401K has been hijacked so that the government can spread the wealth? Do you promise to own up to voting for Obama, after he tells you that you cannot retire until you reach age 75?
