McMolly, I do think you're right. While some people care, and mean well, the majority really don't want to hear, or think.

I've seen a lot of spin by various so called news organizations, but I've not seen any facts to actually "prove" that most of the people voting for Obama actually care a wit about who he is or where he has been for the 20 years before that famous speech 4 years ago when he catapulted to stardom.

I should have been more clear. When I used the word "they" it was all inclusive and that was a mistake. Some people do care (apology below).

But some of those people are buying into the spin and some are voting for McCain.

Yes, a much better way of putting it. I think I've become jaded and disappointed from reading so much of what is written in this forum. I respect everyone's opinions when they've reached them through thought and reflection and have come to an honest decision based on that.

But there are so many people here who simply spout hateful venom about the Republican candidates and even citizens (such as Joe the Plumber) who dare not to follow the crowd into Obama's promised land.

And those are the people I mean when I say "they" don't care.

So apologies to Delusianne who probably cares very much and has reached his/her conclusion based on personal values and the world as he/she sees it.
