my brother in law owns a business and is adding people this week and is voting for Obama, my cousin owns a substantial small business inthe construction trades and has hosted many Obama fund raisers this year. Both of these men plan for the lean times and do not pocket their money, neither have moved out of the homes they had as young men, although they certainly could, neither buy cars, or fancy electronics, although they could, and they have a good deal of money to keep themselves solvent during the business downturns. My cousin has a deal with his workers that in lieu of lay offs during the winter months they get paid a salary, etc, he pays them for the company to do a bunch of pro bono work for seniors and they do not get overtime in the summer. So it works out. He always paid union rates, but they are all partners now, so they all profit share. He grew his business during the Clinton years as did my brother in law.

And THAT my friends is the secret shame of Republicans. How prosperous times were under the Clinton administration. Kind of hurts their argument that "Obama is a socialist". Especially when looks at the country right now. Bailouts. Nationalized banks. More spending than you can shake a pitbull with lipstick at.

IMO it is only fair to fire them first since they were all in favor of Obama's tax plans, so don't start whining if you loose your job or vote for McCain!
I guess the retirees who lost their pensions during the saving and loans scandal AKA the Keating Five shouldn't be upset either huh? Yeah vote McCain, wheww

Yeah, I don't get why people keep saying this. Its as if they've never looked at a tax return before.
