"singular loyalty at birth" is the question, Kooter.
Is an AMERICAN bound by the laws of Britain?
So, if I were the government of an enemy state, I would simply do the following:
"The Nation of Sarcasia hereby bestows upon all Americans citizen status in our country. From this day forward, a child born to one of them shall be as if born here to us."
And forever more, there can be no American Presidents!

Where is it law that states that BOTH parents have to be born in the US to be a natural born citizen? Could not find it.
Where is it law that states a person born in the US is not a natural born US citizen? Same.. could not find it.

If Bin Laden's child were born in America, to an American citizen who resides here, of course he or she would qualify to be POTUS.
Not sure if that child could or would ever win the election though.

Any one born outside the United States, if one parent is an alien and as long as the other parent is a citizen of the U.S. who lived in the U.S. for at least five years (with military and diplomatic service included in this time)
Plus others in list.
Anyone falling into these categories is considered natural-born, and is eligible to run for President or Vice President. These provisions allow the children of military families to be considered natural-born, for example."
