Okay, Obama Is Not A Communist, Right??
I am ready to put the issues of Obama overthrowing capitalism and letting terrorists blow up the country to bed. I have a hard time believing these rumors, but after voting and supporting Bush the last two times and blowing off the rumors about him, only for them to be proven right and what I thought to be proven wrong, I am at a point of worry. I am ready for an economic boom and a better country, and I hope Obama can bring that, but I don't want to live in a communist country. I voted for Obama but since making that vote I have really been thinking about some of the things I have been told about him, am I stupid for worrying about them??

George Benard Shaw said, "Socialism is the same as Communism, only better English."

I agree with the post a couple posts above me. Communism...no, Marxism...maybe, Socialism...YES! You made a very bad choice. I am glad you realize that the seemingly far-fetched and things deemed as crazy can sometimes come true in this world we live in. Most Obama supporters seem to lack this trait.

If bailing out the wealthiest Americans and taking over ownership of banks and investment houses doesn't make this country socialist, then giving a tax break to the working family sure won't.

Communist not yet, Marxist?
You folks are really clueless about socialism, Marxism, Marxist-Leninism, or any other flavor of non-capitalist political economies. And, you regularly confuse basic Keynesian economics with Marx and Engels no wonder you are scared of your own shadows.
